What do you do when you find a beautiful but run down Victorian two storey home in a Sydney suburb? If you are architects Allen Jack+Cottier, you collaborate with Belinda Koopman and Vladimir Sitta to create this beautiful home with a loggia, a gallery that is open on one side.
What caught my eye about this house was the absolute simplicity of the decor, both inside and outside. The grandest form of decoration is the external steel mesh curtain, which shades the north-west façade and transforms the loggia and garden spaces for different family functions.
