On a vast beach in Kenya, among coconut palms and sand dunes, lies a tropical beach retreat. The minimalist style is the perfect balm for the extreme heat we can get here in Africa. The house we feature today belongs to famed Italian designer Marzia Chierichetti who runs Be Clever, an effort to keep herself occupied while her husband was on safari in the bush with clients. Be Clever also runs a workshop to help local Kenyan artisans to use their creativity support to their families.
Marzia has, in the past, styled for Boffi and Capelline International, and it’s this past experience that has enabled her to create this bastion of comfort and minimalist style.
