The Saint Joseph Necessary Library in Ontinyent, Spain was designed by Ramón Esteve Estudio. The building is constructed entirely of concrete, laid out around a central courtyard.
All the windows look out onto this central courtyard with more light spilling in through round openings in the ceilings, the result is a light airy interior that invites reading and exploring the contents of all the books that are housed there.
As for the furnishings, they are discreet and consist mainly of shelves housing the collection of books. All the photographs were taken by Diego Opazo.
