Stunning Casey Key Guest House

The Casey Key Guesthouse is located on a barrier island in Florida, and is set in a mature oak hammock. The design of the structure was inspired by live oaks which had been shaped by coastal winds from the west. The owner wanted a “house in the trees”, and so the architects, TOTeMS Architecture, used curved glulam pine beams, anchored to an elevated slab of concrete to frame the interior space and create the organic shape that reflects the site.

The Casey Key guest house is built next to the Casey Key House and images of both can be seen on the TOTeMS Architecture website and on Inthralld
