Slowly fluorescent light bulbs are becoming harder and harder to find as everyone switches to the energy-efficient, longer lasting compact fluorescent light bulbs. But if you still have some of the older light bulbs and are looking to get rid of them, instead of sending them to the landfill, how about making something practical for the house with them. Like these oil lamps.
If you live in a mosquito area or somewhere with bugs, fill them with citronella oil and have them outside in the summer months to keep your alfresco dining bug free.
