My Favourite Storage Alternatives!

Just the other day I finally got up the courage & decided it was time to repack & reorganise the limited storage spaces that we have in the apartment. However there was one huge problem, the words `limited storage’.  So as obvious as it was, it dawned on me that no matter much I reorganised things I’d still have the same amount of stuff with the same amount of storage space. What to do, what to do?

I love love this idea, but there is one huge obstacle that stands in my way, our bath room isn’t even big enough to swing a cat! But if you would like to DIY something like this check it out here!

So I decided to trawl the wonderful world of the interweb to see if I could find a few ideas to help solve my dilemma. Well, let me tell you dear folks that I managed to find a huge treasure trove of wonderful ideas. I had a specific style in mind so all I had to do was sort through all the lovely pictures I came across.

This idea would be perfect in the kitchen.

Below are a few ideas that I think would look lovely in the apartment. My only problem now is deciding which one I like best. Oh well, perhaps I could think about it for a little while longer, at least I have a place to start right?

I really love these next pictures, they look easy enough to do myself but they really pack a punch in the visual aesthetics department.

(l to r) White crates & wall mounted natural crates

Fantastic ways to re-use old crates. Depending on your particular style you could leave them au natural or paint them to match you colour scheme.

(l to r) Turquoise modular bookshelf & dark crate bookshelf.

(l to r) Pastel painted wall mounted storage & free standing units.

Aged storage

Natural with wheels.
