From a couple of industrial designers, comes this conceptual piece of office equipment.
This might prove handier than the stapler, eventually. It’s a gadget that turns used paper into super cool, one of a kind pencils.
Great for saving a tree or two.
The machine was conceptualised by industrial designers: Chengzhu Ruan, Yuanyuan Liu, Xinwei Yuan and Chao Chen who wanted to give sheets of paper a second, more productive life, by converting them into pencil sticks.
The machine has been christened The P&P Office Waste Processor, and has a slot where paper that has reached the end of its first use, is slid in and gets tightly rolled around a stick of pencil lead.

The glue is applied automatically from a dispenser in the machine. Once the glue is finished, the cartridge helpfully pops open and presents itself for replacement. The pencil leads are conveniently stored in the machine, and can be easily replaced by opening the compartment at the top of the machine.
