Costume designer Janie Bryant from the hit TV show Mad Men absolutely loved the classic styled satchels from the The Cambridge Satchel Company, so much that Janie told the executive producer Matthew Weiner that she was a complete fan.
Low and behold, Mr. Weiner also loved the product, so much that he himself decided to order 300 of the satchels for all the cast and crew as a gift for the end of filming on the 5th series.
Now to make it more personal, each satchel was engraved with the name of the fictitious company logo SCDP which is the name of the advertising agency in the show, Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce. So perhaps when the next season begins, we might just see Don Draper & Co walk into the offices with one of these lovely bags in tow.
