The 69th Annual Golden Globes went off without a hitch yesterday, with some of my favourite series and actors being nominated and even winning. Ricky Gervais was the host for the third year in a row, and was his own special version of restrained. I don’t know about you, but I prefer his raunchy, out of control humour. You would think in a room full of actors, some of them could at least act like they enjoyed it.
There were several amazing dresses, as well as some good-looking men walking the red carpet, like Julianna Margulies, who was nominated for her role in “The Good Wife”, Mireille Enos for her role in “The Killing”, Steve Buscemi for his role in “Boardwalk Empire” and Julian Fellowes for her role in “Downton Abbey”.
