The Gayalux lamp was designed by Xiral Segard and looks like an alien eye ball or a way for our computers to spy on us, but inreality it is an exquisitely designed ball of concrete. Weighing just 5Kg and measuring 26 cm in diameter and 27cm in height, the ball is made from either plain concrete or a black concrete gloss. Made for indoor use only, the lamp takes a compact fluorescent bulb (23W, E27 – 220V, 50 – 60Hz) all for around €340.
The Gayalux lamps are available from Xiral’s website with payment through Paypal.
