British artist, Nick Sayers, makes all sorts of spheres from paper and plastic he has on hand. From estate agent’s signboards, to train tickets, playing cards and measuring tape. The sphere project started around 1992 when he was at Art College, where he would spend hours making sculptures out of plastic cups from the vending machines. He hates waste, so when he noticed the amount of resources being thrown away, he decided to try to do something about it. Of course once he started, he started seeing the potential in almost everything around him.
Nick is based in Brighton and Hove in the UK and regularly organises and promotes gonzo cycle rides including the Brighton Naked Bike Ride, Low Tide Bike Ride and Critical Mass.
