Here’s an idea for all those confined to living in city apartments…..grow your own organic crops! Yes and why not! Set it up in your kitchen or wherever and you can grow herbs, vegetables, fruits, salads etc and have your very own apartment farm. The idea of this micro system comes from The Window Farm Project based in New York. The clever thing about this ingenious set-up is that there is no soil, so the roots are given nutrients from the sea which help prevent root bound problems which leads to more healthy plants than those traditionally placed in soil.
