Anna-Wili Highfield is an artist based in Sydney who makes sculptures of animals from torn scrap paper and copper pipe. The archival cotton paper is painted and sewn together to make the figure of an animal. The copper pipe is then twisted to create figures that look like 3-D line drawings. Anna’s work has been featured in the Anthropologie Gallery in New York, the windows of Hermes in their Brisbane store, her commissions have also travelled to the homes of people all around the world, like Sydney, Melbourne, Paris, London, Toronto and New York.
