Located just 45 minutes outside Auckland, New Zealand is The Redwoods Tree House, an amazing fine dining restaurant that boggles the mind. From far, I suppose it would appear as some sort of giant pale cocoon surrounding an enormous tree but up close one can see the details in the simple structure, constructed from redwood harvested and milled directly on-site. Originally the tree house was commissioned as part of a marketing campaign by Yellow in 2008, but when the campaign was complete, ownership was passed back to the owner who brought in The Experience Group to manage the structure as a fine dining restaurant catering to private and corporate functions as well as fashion shoots.
