I absolutely love bamboo, if I could get it into everything I would…unfortunately this makes me a bit of a kook to normal people (what’s new?) although when I tell them that it’s related to grass (not the grass you smoke) they look at me kinda weird, they don’t believe me.

Here’s an interesting item, a wind up radio with the ability to connect it to your iPod or any other MP3 device. Two minutes of cranking will give you about 30 minutes of radio power . Hard to reach places

Danny Kuo, a designer from the Netherlands, came up with an ingenious storage system based on the premise that building vertically is the most efficient way to build. This of course opens up infinite possibilities in all areas of life, but none more so than in small apartments!

However this philosophy in turn creates its own set of problems, if you build up, how does the average sized person reach the upper shelves. Danny came up with the perfect solution, combine shelves and steps!
