Christopher Brosius has opened a small perfumery in Williamsburg with alternate fragrances, called “CB I Hate Perfume”. The reason for the name is that he has a strong sensitivity to the aromachemicals found in even the most expensive perfumes commonly available today. CB I Hate Perfume has fragrances like “Wild Hunt“, “Inner Tube”, “Rubber Cement”, “Wet Pavement”, “Burning Leaves”, “Roast Beef” and “In The Library”. Not your usual selection, but intriguing nonetheless.
Christopher’s fragrances are customised to the individual’s preference from a range of single notes (scent) , like “Rhubarb Leaf”, “Papaya Seed”, “Celo Tape” and “Crayon”, even “Indole” (similar to the scent of dead mice) and mildew find a place in his concoctions.
