This steamer from Office for Product Design, is the modern take on the traditional Chinese bamboo steamer. It has a fireproof ceramic bowl which prevents it from ever warping when the temperature changes. The ceramic also doesn’t take on the smells from strong smelling foods. The steamer set also has a perforated terracotta plate which absorbs excess moisture and prevents the steamed food from becoming too soggy.
