By using an ingenious method of carving, Mary Dickerson has created a resilient cushion made from ash wood. Mary’s work was inspired by Carolien Laro’s Spring Wood.

London Themed Ruffled Cushions

A great way to celebrate all things London related in the lead up to the London Olympic Games 2012, is to make a ruffled burlap Union Jack cushion. Becca from From Gardeners Two Bergers made this one with a tutorial from Aimee at Twigg Studios, and it looks like it worked out just great.
