A nineteenth century horse riding arena in Kraków was converted into a theatre and library garden by Polish studio Ingarden & Ewý. The resulting structure has the feeling of a wide open horse riding arena but the intimacy required fora a theatre.
Pavilion Siegen is a weekend fishing retreat built on the shore of Lake Siegen, Germany. Constructed of exposed concrete, the pavilion has a cantilevered roof and base that extend 6 meters over the surface of the lake.
I’m a sucker for houses with amazing views, and the Holman House in Sydney, Australia certainly qualifies, inspired by a Picasso painting and built on 70 metre high cliffs.
The living areas are cantilevered out over endless views of the ocean while the bedrooms are snug against the cliff side. The lower levels form a base built on rough stone walls which continue along the cliff edge to form concentric terraced gardens and a rock pool.

The Thermopian-covered house can be seen on Dezeen and Moomoo Architect
Nomu, which means “to drink” in Japanese, is a teapot and teacups designed by Lee West. What makes this teapot special, is that it has no handle but instead has a removable cork sleeve so you don’t burn your hands.
The Nomu teapots and cups were launched by Eno at the Maison & Objet show in Paris
Designers Zoe Miller and David Goodman from Millergoodman presented their hand printed wooden blocks at the Home show in London in January. The wooden blocks are printed with face components that allow you to construct your own unique face.
