Made from super soft felt, they are made from 80% post-consumer fibres which make them eco friendly in that they don’t use new fibres. They are also super easy to clean, requiring just a quick rinse in the sink to get rid of any spills. The tiles are designed to allow you to build your own rug to fit the space you have in mind. Some Assembly Required Interlocking Floor Coverings

ModR2 Even with the lovely wooden floors we have in our house, we know that we need rugs or some kind of floor covering, just to delineate spaces and to absorb some of the clank and rustle that naturally happens in houses. Rug shopping is not fun, in fact shopping in general is not fun when you have a clear idea of what you want and can not find it…anywhere! But that is a problem of the past with Stitch Interlocking Rugs from Module R.

DIY Floor Cloths

Have you ever struggled to find the perfect rug to fit an area in your home? Have you been to what feels like hundreds of carpet & rug shops or decorating stores and all you came away with was sore feet and enough frustration to start you drinking?

Here’s an idea, why don’t you make your own? It’s way cheaper than rehab, I can guarantee you that. That is what this lovely lady at Design Share did.

Laura Hayestone has several different DIY methods of making her floor cloths, which she shares on her blog, here is the one I found that sounds the easiest. All her methods are really simple, all you need are imagination, and a little time on your hands; but it’s summer holidays so there’s plenty of that hanging around.
