Lacy Metal Sculptures

Cal Lane in her workshops with some incomplete art pieces

As a self confessed “Devil’s Advocate”, with a preference for contrasting textures placed side by side, Cal Lane’s career choice doesn’t really come as a surprise, especially when you find out she creates delicate metal lace sculptures from wheelbarrows, oil drums, metal pipes and I-Beams. Cinco de Mayo Baby!

Cinco de Mayo, not to be confused with the Mexican Independence Day which is on the 16th of September, is a celebration of the unlikely victory of Mexico over the French.
