Get The Jump On Winter With A Honey Lemon Tea

At the beginning of school season and the change in the weather, all it takes is for one person to get the sniffles before the whole family is out for the count.

To prevent or lessen the damage done by colds that can be prevented, Catherine from A Little Life has kindly posted a recipe for the Honey Lemon Tea she first tasted at a Korean friends house. Add slices of ginger and it would make the perfect house warming or hostess gift during the chilly winter months.

Handmade Bionic Hands

Can you imagine being in an accident and losing both your hands. Now imagine you live in a small, poor town in Northern China and you can’t afford the prosthetics recommended by the hospital. Most people would give up, but Sun Jifa had a farm to work  so he built his own hands.

He’s also planning on refining his design so that others with the same problem can live independent, normal lives.

Holy Nutty Bars Batman!

These homemade Nutty bars are three of my favourite things piled into one, they might not be good for me but that’s not going to stop me from making these home-made nutty bars. For those of us who didn’t grow up with store-bought Nutty Bars, these will be a taste sensation that will knock your socks off. These nutty bars consist of piles of creamy peanut butter sandwiched between crispy Matzo crackers and coated in semi or bittersweet chocolate, heaven on a Matzo cracker if you ask me.

Thank you Nealey Dozier from The Kitchn for this delightful recipe!

I’ve seen a few recipes around, but this recipe from Carrie at Denver Bargains has to be the easiest.

That was before I found this recipe, chocolate ice cream, without a churn, could it be possible? Apparently it is. Joanna Goddard’s recipe is proof that it can be done.

The recipe for Heaven In A Glass, also known as The Best Homemade Chocolate Ice Cream is on Joanna’s blog, A Cup Of Jo
