Yesterday marked the first anniversary of William and Kate, Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. And what a year it has been, the social climbing young lady that was such a wild card to the British public has shown herself to be cool, contained and able to handle the rigours of the life of a Royal. We found a couple of the highlights of the last year, all together now, awwwww!
William & Catherine’s Official Wedding Photos
With the wedding party looking relaxed & at ease everybody takes their place for the official photographs to mark the events of the day. Just hours after saying I do & becoming the Dutchess of Cambridge, Kate & William both have radiant smiles on their faces & looking blissfully happy!
Clarence House has released official photos, by Hugo Burnand, of the happy couple posing for their traditional wedding album pictures. The 3 images include the happy couple arm in arm, with their young attendants as well as their parents & siblings, Harry, Pippa & James.

Kate Middleton’s Wedding Dresses
Not only did Kate Middleton have one of the best kept secrets for a wedding dress, designed by one of the most fashionable fashion houses, but she also managed to nab herself a second equally talked about ensemble. While the first dress was fit for a Princess, beautiful designed by creative director Sarah Burton of the fashion house Alexander McQueen, with elegant lace sleeves, beautifully simple & in keeping with the tradition that all brides cover their shoulders, the second dress, also an Alexander McQueen, was simple, young & fresh & definitely made for a party!

For William & Kate the day could not have gone any smoother. The weather was perfect, the atmosphere electric, hundreds & thousands of people celebrating with them, close family & friends to share their love. Being the new set of young trendy royals William & Kate have made this royal wedding their own.

Well it seems to be all over, the wedding of the year, so far, has come and gone and all that’s left is for the streamers and flags to be swept up off the street. But for two people, their journey has just begun, I like to think of a wedding as just the beginning.
And what better way to begin your life than to remember the best parts of your day. So I have gleaned a few of my favourite shots of Prince William and Kate’s big day.

With only 24hrs to go before Kate Middleton says `I do’, we are all waiting with baited breath to see what she’ll be wearing. Every question from what kind of dress will she have on, who is the designer, how long will her train be & will it be longer than Lady Di’s? Every aspect & decision that has been made for their wedding will be eagerly awaited by hundreds & thousand …maybe even millions of people around the world.
For now though let us look back at some of the fantastically unique hats that Kate has worn to various functions.
