Architects Kuklinski + Rappe remodelled this cottage on the slopes of Lake Geneva, Chicago to resemble its neighbours and the contemporary lifestyle of it’s owners. The layout of the cottage centers around a staircase that rises from the lower level entry to a spacious loft area providing a screen between the living and dining spaces on the main level.
The Refuge was designed by Wim Goes Architectuur in Deinze as a link between the landscape and the architecture. The architect managed to change the perceptions of the inhabitants of the house, who confessed to viewing the landscape in a whole new light.
The Lake Austin Spa in Austin, Texas has over 100 treatment experiences and was voted by the readers of Condé Nast Traveller as the #1 Destination Spa on the Condé Nast Gold List. The spa is equipped with 20 indoor treatment spaces with private showers and a state-of-the-art sound system.
The Aster Café which is part of the spa, will provide a light lunch as a break before you take advantage of the two magnificent swimming pools, one of which is a Junior Olympic length heated lap pool.

In Valle de Bravo, a town in Mexico State, Mexico, there is a house called Casa Diaz designed by architects Productura. The house takes full advantage of its sloped position on the banks of a large lake with its elongated shape and stepped levels.
