Architects Kuklinski + Rappe remodelled this cottage on the slopes of Lake Geneva, Chicago to resemble its neighbours and the contemporary lifestyle of it’s owners. The layout of the cottage centers around a staircase that rises from the lower level entry to a spacious loft area providing a screen between the living and dining spaces on the main level.
The Refuge In Flanders Belgium
The Refuge was designed by Wim Goes Architectuur in Deinze as a link between the landscape and the architecture. The architect managed to change the perceptions of the inhabitants of the house, who confessed to viewing the landscape in a whole new light.
