Mikoto is a range of bamboo knife blocks, lacquered to a high glossy finish on the outside. In true Asian sensibility, the bamboo knife boxes are filled with skewers that not only allows the user to insert as many or as few knives as will fit, but also to insert the knives is any formation desired. They allow free-form storage that is easily customised to the needs of the kitchen.

The bamboo knife boxes are designed by Austrian designer Martin Robitsch, handmade in Vietnam, and the skewers are removable and washable. The knife boxes are available in smoke, tomato, mandarin, lime, white and black lacquer. [Read more...]
