Crazy, Cool Country House In Portland, Oregon

This gorgeous little house is situated deep in the woods of Portland, Oregon and was nearly a decade in the making but it was all totally worth it. The owner is a music lover as well as a nature lover so the house not only had to blend into the background of the Oregonian landscape but also had to assist the flow of the music played within the structure. The house is constructed from wood and glass with metal detailing throughout as well as a sweeping roof that transforms the house from modern to rustic depending on where it is viewed from. I absolutely love bamboo, if I could get it into everything I would…unfortunately this makes me a bit of a kook to normal people (what’s new?) although when I tell them that it’s related to grass (not the grass you smoke) they look at me kinda weird, they don’t believe me.
But enough of that, it’s always a pleasure to meet people striving to change the world, and with his bamboo, electricity- free speaker, Anatoliy Omelchenko has gotten a start on doing just that.
