The Pencil Printer looks like the end of printer ink cartridge woes for every office, ever. It’s a printer that uses pencils to print text, this might induce rampant yawns, but let me explain, the printer uses a pencil to print your documents, making the text erasable with the eraser that comes with the printer. Because of the printer bed’s curved shape, the eraser dust naturally falls of the page and does not interrupt the printer’s printing.
After my post on Stephen Wiltshire, I’ve been looking out for artists that create amazing art. Whether it be with pens and an amazing power of recall, or these next artists that create pencil drawings that look like black and white photographs. The level of reality in these drawings is enough to give me a complex. The attention to detail and the way the play of light falls on the different textures makes them look like photographs. Thank God I don’t earn a living drawing, ‘cos these guys would put me out of business. Which are your favourites?
