Places like Pärlans Konfektyr in Stockhom really warm my heart. It is a candy shop that makes, wraps and sells candy made from recipes from the 30′s and 40′s. The focus is on quality, not quantity and everything is made, wrapped and boxed by hand.

The ladies and Leyli from the video below dress in vintage costumes and totally look the part of  Rosie the Riveter.

Holy Nutty Bars Batman!

These homemade Nutty bars are three of my favourite things piled into one, they might not be good for me but that’s not going to stop me from making these home-made nutty bars. For those of us who didn’t grow up with store-bought Nutty Bars, these will be a taste sensation that will knock your socks off. These nutty bars consist of piles of creamy peanut butter sandwiched between crispy Matzo crackers and coated in semi or bittersweet chocolate, heaven on a Matzo cracker if you ask me.

It’s beautifully designed, just like your own SAAB Roadster, streamlined and retro but without the pesky fumes and exhaust. The SAAB Roadster is available from Playsam and looks so good, it can double as an accessory once your kids have outgrown it, although, when they aren’t looking, I’ll probably be sitting on it, pretending I’m Audrey Hepburn out shopping.
