Japanese artist, Kumi Yamashita, creates amazing portraits with nails and unbroken, black sewing thread. So the image you see above left is what it looks like when you are looking at the whole picture.

Now when you look at the detail, above right, you can see the individual galvanized nails and the black sewing thread that makes up her lips and even the shadow cast by her nose. Amazing, hey!
