Lately s’mores have become very popular, especially now that winter has arrived and we actually need the fires for warmth. We have also seen s’mores in almost every shape and form but we have never seen s’more chocolate truffles.

If you need something to take to the next party that you are invited to look no further, Betty Crocker has come through with a recipe for warm toasted marshmallow bars. They are made from traditional ingredients that go into a run-of-the-mill s’more, with some added butter and of course a package of Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Mix. Lovely!

Once you have homemade marshmallows, your life will change, I promise. Never again will you bother to buy the jet puffed rubbery pillows at your local grocery store. You will also become the most likely person to be invited for camping trips, Christmas parties and anywhere a s’more is served, just because of these marshmallows. I’ve seen a few recipes around, but this recipe from Carrie at Denver Bargains has to be the easiest.
Now that we are smack in the middle of Winter, I thought it might be nice to have a couple of options for dinner parties. Or to be more accurate, after dinner options, desserts.
