Chris Hemsworth, star of the recently released Avengers and of Snow White And The Huntsman, became a father recently. India Rose, is what he and his beautiful Spanish actress wife, Elsa Pataky have named their daughter who was born on the 11th of May.  I am sure with parents as gorgeous as Chris and Elsa, this little girl is going to be breaking hearts long before she hits puberty. Though potential suitors will have to contend with Thor as her father.

A new version of the childhood favourite Snow White is being released next (Northern Hemisphere) summer. It’s the same story we remember from childhood, modernised into a story that incorporates some incredible special effects. Starring Kristen Stewart (Twilight), Oscar® winner Charlize Theron (narrator of Astro Boy), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) and Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), this new version has been renamed Snow White and the Huntsman and is produced by Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland), Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and  directed by Rupert Sanders (The Life). Personally, I can’t wait for this movie to come out, it will be nice to see K-Stew as something other than a limp noodle teenage girl almost obsessively in love with a vampire.
