French Barreau & Charbonnet have designed Volet Végétal, a window mounted garden frame where apartment dwellers can grow small plants. The garden frame can be lowered to lie horizontally outside the window frame or brought in when the weather turns harsher.
Volet Végétal can be viewed from May 31 to June 3 at the Paris urban garden show, Jardins Jardin
The Ladybird is a free-standing submersion bath, like the Furo which are the deeper baths traditionally used in Japan. The Ladybird however can be converted into a regular bathroom vanity with the addition of a lid.
If you live in a tiny apartment, as most of us do, you need to use space wisely, so getting a Murphy bed is the most efficient use of the space available.

Every once in a while you come across something on the Internet that kinda makes you stop & go wow.
For the last few days I have been trawling the Internet looking at stuff. What kind of stuff you might ask, well anything to do with apartments. Just the other day I finally got up the courage & decided it was time to repack & reorganise the limited storage spaces that we have in the apartment. However there was one huge problem, the words `limited storage’. So as obvious as it was, it dawned on me that no matter much I reorganised things I’d still have the same amount of stuff with the same amount of storage space. What to do, what to do?

OK now this is what you call inventive!
Could this be the face of the future…..living in small spaces will no longer be a problem.
The only problem I see is when it comes time to move & pack up, will I remember how to put everything back together again!
