LG’s New Take on The Scanner – A Mouse

In Seoul, August 2011, LG came out with a new take on the scanner. The LSM-100 scanner mouse will be on display at the IFA 2011 in Messe Berlin, Berlin and will be the first piece of technology that will use the Swiss developed SLAM Scan® software by Dacuda.
Operating the LSM-100’s scanning function is far more convenient than on conventional scanners. While holding the Smart Scan button on the left side of the mouse, you simply swipe the mouse over the material to be scanned, the scanned image can then be saved in a variety of file types -– PNG, JPEG, TIFF, BMP, PDF, XLS and DOC –- or dragged and dropped into an application.
Summer House in Geneva Switzerland

Placed on a hill, over looking the surrounding fields in Geneva, Switzerland, is a summer house made completely from concrete. This house, designed by Dreier Frenzel Architecture & Communication based in Lausanne, is prefabricated and is almost completely open on one side to take advantage of the immediate garden view……the view of the surrounding fields in the distance is completely incidental. The Garden Pavilion as it’s called, is a series of three concrete structures, offset from each other.

There is something to be said for working your passion. There is also something to be said for working that passion in a place that looks as good as Montreux, Switzerland. And that is exactly what Marcello and Adriano have managed to achieve. Both having a passion for the ladies (a wife and daughter in Adriano’s case), watches (it’s the Swiss in them both…) and great food and wine (the Italian in them), it makes perfect sense to be based in Switzerland and to develop their idea of the Pineapple Watch.
