Tiered Dessert Plate DIY

Once again Heather from Decor-ganize Crafts has come up with a great DIY to get a great look without breaking the bank. This time it’s for a tiered dessert plate just like the ones that cost an arm and a leg in out-of-the-way antique shops.

Heather’s dessert platter is made with stove burner covers, short pedestals and little round “feet” for the bottom tier. However you can make yours out of whatever you come across.

If you have a really small bathroom, like most of us do, storage is an issue that you have to get creative to sort out. But you are not alone in this, we found this tutorial from BHG on making your own tiered storage for your bathroom.

The same idea can also be used to make your own cake stands, all you have to do is decide how many tiers and adjust accordingly.
