The response was amazing, and one of the design bloggers to rise to the challenge was Shannon Summers from Compartment Life, who took toilet paper art and, I think, improved on the original idea.

We are going to take this blog somewhere it’s never been, the bathroom. More specifically, the toilet, every mother with a bored toddler is going to hate me after this because I have found a toilet roll tube that you can flush when it’s empty. So no more abstract toilet paper tube art on your walls because the new Lotus Comfort with Aqua Tube has a tube made from biodegradable paper which dissolves when flushed down the toilet. However we don’t recommend you stick your hand in the toilet.
