The Spa House in Hout Bay Cape Town was designed by Metropolis Design, a Cape Town based architectural firm. The company was established in 1992, and draws inspiration from the natural landscapes and urban cultures of South Africa.
Mitchelton Winery in Richmond, Australia, produces a wide selection of warm region wine varieties like Shiraz, Chardonnay and Riesling. The vineyard has recently undergone renovations by Hecker Guthrie Interior Designers who recently re-designed the architecturally significant buildings. The Cellar Door and Function Rooms were the first to be re-invigorated, followed in time by the restaurant.
Casa Del Agua in Colonia Roma, Mexico is a recent project by Esrawe, an interior and furniture design firm based in Polanco, Mexico. Casa Del Agua sells natural, hand bottled organic fresh water that is distilled on site. Esrawe designed the space in tune with the company’s philosophy of calm, harmonious well being, even the storage area is beautiful and peaceful.
Santa Fe Ski is a ski resort in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, just 16 miles from historic Santa Fe, New Mexico. The ski resort not only features some of the best ski and boarding action in the region, but also offers Autumn ski lift rides through multicoloured forests of golden leafed trees.

In the middle of bustling Manhattan, is the city’s first ski-themed bar, Hudson Bar. The 1,500 square foot bar, located in Hudson Hotel’s private park, and decorated to transport guests into a winter oasis with animal hide rugs, wooden skis and sleds.
The menu is also ski-inspired, featuring a Hot Chocolate Bar with toppings like crushed candy canes, chocolate pretzel dust, burnt marshmallow and gooey cookie dough. There are beverages created by Steve Olson such as hot buttered rum and Aztec hot chocolate.
The Anatomical Snuff Box is an on-line shop that features products with an anatomical twist. For Valentines Day, they are opening a pop up shop at 133 Bethnal Green Road, London, featuring products like the heart pictured above.

Located in the desert of Inner Mongolia, is the Desert Lotus Hotel. A concrete-free hotel erected in the shape of a lotus blossom in Xiang Sha Wan, in the Gobi Desert. PlaT Architects had to invent a new structural system to be anchored in the sands by panels and a prefabricated steel support skeleton.
