Jack The Hand Cast Speaker

Usually concrete is a material used in the construction of boring structures like parking lots or high-rise apartments, but An/Aesthetic Design has elevated concrete to audio art form with the Jack Speaker.

The Jack speaker is speaker that is simple and edgy with its use of hand cast concrete as a main material. The speaker is tapered to the rear and the concrete has a cut-out to accommodate a wooden cylinder to raise the front of the speaker and to reduce vibrations.

Canon’s PIXMA Printer Paint Sculptures

When Canon began assembling their campaign for the Canon PIXMA printers, they turned to creative studio Dentsu and photographer Linden Gledhill to create a series of paint sculptures using sound vibrations. He managed to create an amazing series of sculptures that look almost otherworldly, when I saw how the images were created in the video below, I was amazed and intrigued by the speeds the camera had to reach, as well as the scale of the actual droplets used to achieve the level of detail. By using simple tools and advanced technical equipment, they managed to get sculptures that illustrate just how amazing the resulting images produced by the Canon PIXMA printers are.
