Pereira Miguel Architects designed the United Colours of Benetton Chair especially for Luciano Benetton. The Benetton chair was created under DUETS, a project that paired one personality and one designer as part of the event Art on Chairs.
Handwoven Cable Baskets

Evdoxia Stafylaraki made these recycled cable baskets and sent them into Recyclart. The amount of forethought that would have had to go into making these baskets is amazing to me.
I know of South African baskets made with discarded telephone wire, but this is the first time I have seen cable used to make a such a loosely woven basket.
