Flat Extension Leads

I can’t tell you how many times I have managed to trip over extension leads running across the floor, especially at Christmas time when the house is full of family that need all sorts of appliances  plugged in.

This is why when I saw Chen Ju Wei’s flat extension leads, I got super excited. Currently a conceptual project, the Post Line Flat extension lead uses circuit printing technology and an electrostatic paste material. The flat extension lead sticks to almost any flat surface and can be easily wiped clean.

Personalised Ring Alarm

Nobody likes being woken up by someone else’s alarm, especially if you really don’t need to wake up or got in super late. This personalized Alarming Ring by Meng Fandi eliminates that problem. You never need to be woken up by your other halves alarm again.

The Alarming Ring consists of 2 rings that fit on each person’s finger and an electric plate that charges the rings. The rings can be set for each individual alarm time and vibrate on your finger when it’s your turn to wake up.

These conceptual rings are designed for couples that have to wake up at wildly different hours or even for the hearing impaired.

Pencil Printer

The Pencil Printer looks like the end of printer ink cartridge woes for every office, ever. It’s a printer that uses pencils to print text, this might induce rampant yawns, but let me explain, the printer uses a pencil to print your documents, making the text erasable with the eraser that comes with the printer. Because of the printer bed’s curved shape, the eraser dust naturally falls of the page and does not interrupt the printer’s printing.

The future of Cyber Cafes

Internet cafes have been around since the early nineties and since then they haven’t really changed much.
