Although there are any number of apps for smart phones that allow piano students to hone their craft, there isn’t a portable instrument that improves on the experience gained from playing with your phone’s touchscreen.
The Japanese Wrist Mounted Finger Piano is a set of clips and a wristband that allows you to learn the keys of a piano, just like if you are at a real keyboard.
There’s also an in-built speaker that produces the sound of each note that has been assigned to a finger when that finger is placed on a hard surface. The Finger Piano uses 3 x LR44 batteries and comes with a full octave of notes.
The Japanese Wrist Mounted Finger Piano is available through Think Geek for $39.99.
